Last weekend I accompanied my younger sister to New York City for a Theatre/Costume Design interview day. We set up her costume design work (photo 1) early Saturday morning and left for a few hours. At that time schools and theatres looked at each student's work and indicated if they were interested in interviewing them. When we returned, Allison found out that 14 schools wanted to talk to her (photo 2), that's huge! It was fun to watch her in her element and spend quality time with her. We didn't see too much of NYC because the focus was on this theatre stuff, but I managed to take a few cool shots. Our hotel was right in Times Square, can't beat that! You never know who you'll see out there (photo 6).

The girls went to New Orleans for Robyn's Bachelorette party. What a weekend! Long hours of celebrating combined with freezing cold temperatures left us with a memorable weekend. It was nice to get away with everyone now that we're all so busy with work, wedding planning and life in general. Emily stumbled upon an Elvis lamp...if anyone would like to purchase this for her it's in a store on Decatur.

On my way back from Austin I took this photo of Downtown Dallas. It was a quick down and back trip for my great uncle's funeral. I realized today that having a big family is such a blessing, but along with that I will experience the pain of watching may of those dear people leave this life.
