My sweet little grandmother, Big Mama is currently working on leaving this world to move on up to heaven. It's heart breaking for me as she has always been so loving and totally devoted to me throughout my whole life. She is the perfect example of a true lady who has lived her life for others. Her smile is her most famous feature, it is genuine and shared with everyone she meets. When I meet a mutual acquaintance of hers (and there are a lot of them) that is the first thing they comment about, her smile. She has more friends than she can count which is a testament to what a wonderful, loving woman she is. Many of the characteristics in Proverbs 31 about the virtuous wife describe Big Mama and her marriage to Big Daddy. What a great example of love, generosity, positivity, marriage, family and faith. She is the one who told me that I "don't need to say everything I think," which has proven to be difficult for me, but is wise advise that I'm still working on. I love you, Big M.

Look how cool All Good Cafe in Deep Ellum looks right now! If Jay would let me, I would decorate our ceilings the same way. There is something so peaceful about Origami birds flying in a room. Proof of the calming effect; they have a cluster of them over the cold, uncomfortable table you lay on in my gyno's office...
These photos of Stephanie are from a few weeks ago, but I had to post them because she is beautiful! She needed new headshots for her acting career, I of course like an assignment like that. I get to be more creative than the typical 'corporate' headshot, so it's a good day for me! We spent a few hours together, scouting places, shooting, sweating and having fun. It was W-I-N-D-Y as you can see from the last photo. She looks amazing considering her hair was blowing like that between every 'normal' shot I got. I wish my hair would cooperate that well! Thanks Steph, I love your photos!
